Robert Schrooten


Robert’s story begins in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When he was 2 years old, his  family moved to Enfield, Connecticut. Seven years later the family relocated to Anchorage, Alaska. It was here that Robert’s love for art and drawing began.


He graduated with honors from The Art Institutes International Minnesota with a Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design in 2004, then immediately returned to Alaska. Robert found experience with several major newspapers and a commercial print shop.


Robert is familiar with designing advertisements, book layouts, calendars and stationary, but his passion is cartooning and illustration. When he isn’t drawing or starring blankly into space, he spends time with his wife, watching movies or running.
